Read one conversation's thread
The conversation and its public messages. An internal note is the team talking to itself and is never in this response — the visibility filter lives in the query, not in a field the caller could ask to widen. A conversation belonging to another contact answers the same 404 a nonexistent id does.
This is the read the widget polls. It is what the dedicated support budget (1200 requests per hour per session) exists for: a thread refreshed every five seconds fits, and never spends the rest of the contact surface’s allowance.
