Closes one checklist for the person holding the session. The widget’s floating positions draw a close; the inline one does not need it.
Per checklist, and never per person. An environment has many active checklists, so a flag on the contact would make one you launch next month be born already hidden for everybody who closed the last one. Dismissing one says nothing about the others.
It is not a decline and touches no progress. Closing says “not on this screen”: the steps go on being satisfied by facts landing on the bus, and the panel reads the dismissal count beside the completion funnel rather than instead of it.
Answers 204 for a checklist already closed, one belonging to another environment and one that does not exist alike — a 404 would tell whoever asked whether that id exists in this system. Retrying writes once and the first timestamp stands.
